CoC Plans & Governance
The Northwest Florida Continuum of Care operates under a formal governance structure that ensures transparency, accountability, and community participation in decision making.
The CoC Board provides strategic leadership and oversight for the regional homeless response system. Board members represent a diverse group of stakeholders including nonprofit service providers, local governments, housing agencies, advocates, and individuals with lived experience.
The Governance Charter outlines the roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes of the Continuum of Care. This document also defines the responsibilities of the Lead Agency, committees, and the CoC Board.
Public participation is an important part of the Continuum of Care process. Meetings of the CoC Board and committees are open to members and stakeholders, and meeting materials are available to the public to promote transparency and accountability
