FY2026 CoC Program Competition
The U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) released the FY 2026 HUD Continuum of Care (CoC) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) Program Competition on Monday, June 1, 2026. As the Collaborative Applicant, Opening Doors Northwest Florida, Inc. is responsible for conducting the local competition and submitting a consolidated application to HUD on behalf of the Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties CoC. Through this process, the CoC solicits and evaluates project applications for new and existing homelessness assistance projects and selects projects for inclusion in the CoC’s FY2026 application for federal funding.
The purpose of this local competition is to identify project applications that align with HUD’s FY2026 funding priorities and the CoC’s strategic goals for preventing and ending homelessness within the CoC’s geographic area.

FY 2026 OFFICE HOURS AND WEBINARS
Opening Doors NWFL will host office hours for current CoC-funded recipients, CoC Membership organizations, and community partners interested in learning more and providing input on the CoC Program NOFO competition components.
These sessions are open to the public.
