The FL-511 Continuum of Care is seeking dedicated members to serve on key committees that support funding decisions, data oversight, and system performance.
Open Committees
Rating and Ranking Committee
Best for individuals with experience in:
-
Grant review or scoring
-
Program funding or evaluation
-
Understanding HUD CoC requirements
Focus: Reviewing and scoring project applications for funding.
Commitment
-
Participate in meetings during local, state, and federal competition periods
-
Review and score project applications and supporting materials
-
Attend special meetings as needed during funding competitions or reallocation processes
-
Maintain confidentiality and disclose conflicts of interest
-
Initial one-year term
This committee may require additional meetings and time commitments during competition cycles.
Quality Improvement & Performance Committee
Best for individuals with experience in:
-
Program performance and outcomes
-
Data analysis and system improvement
-
Continuous quality improvement
Focus: Improving system performance and outcomes across the CoC.
Commitment
-
Quarterly meetings (approximately 60 minutes)
-
Review of system performance data and committee materials between meetings
-
Participation in discussions regarding system improvement strategies and performance outcomes
-
Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed
-
Initial one-year term
HMIS & Coordinated Entry Committee
Best for individuals with experience in:
-
HMIS or data systems
-
Data quality and reporting
-
Coordinated Entry processes
Focus: Overseeing data systems and coordinated access.
Commitment
-
Quarterly meetings (approximately 60 minutes)
-
Review of HMIS, Coordinated Entry, and system workflow materials between meetings
-
Participation in policy, data quality, and system improvement discussions
-
Additional meetings or trainings may be scheduled as needed
-
Initial one-year term

We are seeking a diverse group of stakeholders who are committed to strengthening the local homeless response system, including:

Service providers (Emergency Shelter, Rapid Re-Housing, Permanent Supportive Housing, etc.)

HMIS/Data professionals
-
Local government and funders
-
Healthcare and behavioral health partners
-
Individuals with lived experience of homelessness
-
Community stakeholders and advocates
Applicants should:

Be active members of the FL-511 Continuum of Care or willing to become members
-
Have professional, lived, or volunteer experience relevant to the committee(s) of interest
-
Be willing to actively participate in committee meetings and activities
-
Support the mission and goals of the Continuum of Care
